In 2010, the Yondo daughter, Am Can Ch Benbaron's Taboo Of Yondo went Best Of Breed under Judge Horst Vogel. In his comments, Horst said that Taboo may have been the finest smooth bitch he ever judged. High praise indeed coming from Mr. Vogel who is not known, shall we say, for putting up bitches for Breed! This great honor was much appreciated by her handler, Marty Glover, her owners and her breeders. There have only been a few smooth bitches in history to win this show, including Ch Rude's High Jinks V Buster and Ch Cache Retreat On A Clear Day.

For us, it was the third time that a Benbaron dog won the National Best Of Breed. This is an exclusive club. The only kennels to have reached this plateau are Edleweiss in the 1950's, Sanctuary Woods in the 1970's, Opdyke in the 1990's, and Cache Retreat in the 2000's. Thanks to the magic of frozen semen, Benbaron has done it in the 2010's. Way to go Taboo!
