Veronica Joins Her Sister, Voodoo, in Hall of Fame

Nov 2012 - We just learned from Deb Denis that Ch Benbaron's Veronica Of Eddie now has her fourth champion offspring (Amy owned by Luanne Palmer) and has qualified to join her litter sister, Voodoo, in the SBCA Hall of Fame as a producer of champions. We think this is a wonderful honor and thank Deb and all the owners for taking the time to finish these wonderful examples of the breed. (see more)

 

To get even one dog from a litter into the SBCA Hall of Fame is an accomplishment, but two or more is a thrill. Big brothers, VonGabe and Vinnie, have to tip their hats to their litter sisters, Veronica and Voodoo for doing such a fine job. Our second "V" litter was a repeat breeding of our second "U" litter, which had its own stars including Ustinov, Unique, Upbeat, Upstart and Uppercut.

The Team

Benbaron was founded by Toni (short for Antoinette) and Brian Beninger in 1970, in the Ottawa, Ontario, Canada area. Their children, Michelle and Robin, grew up with these giant dogs and yet remain amazingly normal today with many children of their own. In fact, Robin owns and shows the impressive Yondo son, Benbaron's Xavier Of Yondo, out in Victoria, BC. Now retired, from both work and breeding, Brian and Toni nevertheless remain keenly interested in the breed. They are always eager to "talk Saints" with fellow fanciers and invite inquiries and questions about their Benbaron Saints.
