Going back the better part of thirty years, we find a young Shirley Tsagris winning BOS under a young Glen Radcliffe at the SBC of Jan Jose specialty. Quaker was one of those solid typey bitches you just had to love, despite the fact that she could have used more length of leg. She was a granddaughter of Sanctuary Woods Yondo U Ole (there's that Yondo thing again!). After winning BOS at the Ontario SBC specialty, we sent her to Skee and Shirley and they had a lot of success showing her in California. (more)

Here Quaker is winning another BOS at the Sacramento-Sierra specialty under the late Judge Ken McGinnis of Texas.

If we examine Quaker's pedigree you will see that we doubled up on the Echo "C" litter as well as picking up an extra shot of Sanctuary Woods. This pattern became a template for our own breeding program. We liked working combinations that involved dogs from our most successful litters. We were never afraid to use inbreeding as a means to concentrate the most desirable genes.
