Taboo was the female version of her famous father, Yondo. She was a massive, powerful smooth bitch who moved like a dream. She earned her place in history and in the SBCA Hall of Fame as a great National competitor. She won three 5-point majors at National week shows, including Winners Bitch in 2009. At the 2010 National she went Best Of Breed! In 2011 she went Select and completed her Grand Championship.  Her handler, Marty Glover will always have a special spot in his heart for this powerhouse gal. Taboo passed away during the winter of 2011-12.

Here is Taboo winning Best Of Breed at the 2010 National in Oregon under Judge Horst Vogel. It was  great day for this powerful bitch and her handler/co-owner Marty Glover. In the past century, only a handful of bitches have won this show and even fewer of them were shorthaired. For Benbaron, this felt like a "time warp" given that her sire, Yondo, had won in 1986 and 1987.

One of the great ones.
